Medical Informatics Laboratory
The Medical Informatics Laboratory was established in 2013 at the Research Center for Science and Technology in Medicine (RCSiTM), affiliated with Tehran University of Medical Sciences. The primary activities in this laboratory focus on the application of artificial intelligence in medical decision support systems and the processing of medical data.
Main Objectives:
Utilizing Artificial Intelligence:
Designing, simulating, and evaluating devices and algorithms.
Medical Decision Support Systems:
Developing intelligent systems to assist in clinical decision-making.
Machine Vision:
Implementing advanced vision technologies for medical applications.
This laboratory serves as a hub for interdisciplinary research, combining expertise in medicine, computer science, and engineering to develop innovative solutions for modern healthcare challenges.
